Haveli Wajid Ali Shah

Wajid Ali Shah was 50th King of Oudh from 1847 to 1856.  The Haveli Wajid Ali Shah is a beautiful, historic and well-maintained palace in the city of Lahore. The palace is the official residence of the Nawab of Lahore. The Haveli Wajid Ali Shah was originally built in 1792 by Wajid Ali Shah, the grandson of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The Haveli Wajid Ali Shah was later redesigned and expanded by his son, Wajid Ali Shah II.
